Sarah is a senior member of the global IFRS team which promotes the high quality consistent application of IFRS. Sarah has also authored a number of publications on the practical application of IFRS Standards. On a day to day basis Sarah deals with worldwide technical queries and IFRS application issues. Sarah is part of the IFRS Interpretations Group and together with IFRS technical partners from around Grant Thornton’s global network she works to develop a consensus on technical issues, for both new and current Standards.
Sarah has worked with a broad range of companies across various industries and has an auditing background within Grant Thornton’s Australian member firm. Sarah was an integral part of the real estate and construction team within the firm and has significant audit experience in dealing with clients in the property industry, having been the engagement manager for some key clients in this area. Sarah has a keen interest in the new leasing standard – IFRS 16.
Sarah is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and participates in the London Society of Chartered Accountants Technical committee.
