Mike oversees finance, internal sustainability, tax, and advisory. He is responsible for driving efficiency and excellence and supporting sustainable growth.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant with 35+ years of business advisory experience. For the past 10 years, Mike was a member of the Grant Thornton Australia Executive team, with direct responsibility for the leadership of the Financial Advisory, Management Consulting and Private Enterprise teams.
From a client perspective, Mike served medium-sized private businesses, subsidiaries of large corporations and not for profit organisations. Acting as both an advisor and business partner, he took an active role in understanding businesses, assisting in strategic and operational planning and advising on internal financial operations like management reporting, taxation and statutory reporting.
Mike also has significant experience in providing “outsourced back office/support services” to foreign subsidiaries and subsidiaries of larger corporations. This expertise extends to providing advice to clients looking to establish an outsource arrangement, through to providing the solution.
