Francesca Lagerberg, global leader for tax services at Grant Thornton International Ltd, will speak before the Global Tax Policy Conference in Dublin, 9-11 March on The power of tax data – who owns it and who can demand it? The event is sponsored by the Harvard Kennedy School and the Irish Tax institute.

Other speakers will include Pascal Saint-Amans, Director of the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD; Prof. Brian J. Arnold, Senior Adviser, Canadian Tax Foundation; Ronald Dickel, vice president of Finance and director of Global Tax and Trade at Intel Corporation; Simon Henry, Chief Financial Officer of Royal Dutch Shell plc; and Will Morris, Director, Global Tax Policy, in General Electric's corporate tax department.

In addition to her role as the global leader for tax services at Grant Thornton International Ltd, one of the largest global accounting organization with $4.7 billion in revenues and operations in 130 countries, Francesca also serves as a member of the Grant Thornton global leadership team and is responsible for Grant Thornton European member firms and global legal issues. She is the only woman currently running a global tax practice amongst the six largest global accounting organizations.
